MENTAL HEALTH

Mental health is not the absence of disease, but rather a state of
general well-being that includes:
1- Emotional well-being, in which a person understands and manages
his feelings to be able to deal with stress and maintain a positive
outlook.
2- Psychological well-being, in which a person develops
self-confidence in a healthy way and sets his goals by thinking clearly
and thus makes the right decisions.
3- Social well-being, in which healthy relationships are built and
maintained and the person feels connected and contributing to
society.
Mental health appears through thoughts, feelings, actions and
reactions. In general, a person with mental health can:
1- Deal with life’s pressures.
2- Work with high productivity.
3- Know his competence and strengths.
4- Add to his community.
This in turn takes the person to a stage where he is able to:
1- Develop his flexibility and stability.
2- Build strong relationships.
3- Maintain a positive outlook on life.
