What is self-care?
Scientists have come up with many theories to define self-care as taking
actions to maintain and improve one’s health and well-being. Self-care
includes deliberate activities and habits that a person does to support
their physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual health. Self-care
does not mean being selfish, but it is something very necessary to be able
to maintain your balance and flourish in life.
The most prominent benefits of self-care:-
First: Self-care enhances the feeling of well-being, which helps our overall
health.
Second: It reduces stress by controlling the level of personal stress and
reducing the feeling of exhaustion.
Third: It enhances personal resilience, so the person becomes able to
deal with challenges in a better way.
