JOURNALING

Journaling is a great tool that helps you understand your thoughts and
deal with your experiences and thus develop yourself.
Regardless of the amount of what you write, the idea of journaling itself,
meaning holding a pen and paper and starting to write, has great benefits.
I will now summarize the four most important of them:

1- The emotional benefit is represented by relieving pressure and tension
because when you write, you release your feelings freely, which leads to
emotional clarity that helps you understand and manage your feelings in a
better way and also develop your mood.
2- The mental benefit represented by developing memory and
understanding and thus the ability to solve problems in an easier and
faster way, which leads to mental clarity, which in turn helps increase
concentration.
3- The physical benefit represented by developing sleep and improving its
quality and increasing immunity due to reducing stress, which in turn
lowers high blood pressure.
4- The benefit related to personal growth is represented by our ability to
discover ourselves better, i.e. discovering our thoughts, feelings and
beliefs, which helps us to clearly define goals and track progress, and thus
creativity and innovation increase.
● Seven tips for better journaling:

  • Consistency.
  • Find the right time and place.
  • Be honest with yourself.
  • Discover yourself.
  • Don’t strive for perfection.
  • Reflect on your input.
  • Stay positive.
