There are seven types of self-care journaling that I will explain and give
examples of questions about.
The first type: is that you reflect and ask yourself:
1- What is special about my day today?
2- What challenges did I face?
3- How did I feel during the day?
The second type: Practicing gratitude, for example, such as:
1- Remember three things you are grateful for today.
2- Why are these things important to you?
3- How can you develop the concept of gratitude in your life?
The third type: Self-compassion, which is:
1- Write about a difficult experience you have faced.
2- Ask yourself how you can be more understanding and kind?
3- What would you advise a friend who is going through what you are
going through?
The fourth type: Emotional logging, and here you ask yourself:
1- About the feelings you are feeling now?
2- What provokes these feelings to come to the surface?
3- What can you do to manage and express these feelings in a healthy
way?
Type Five: Goal Setting Here you ask yourself:
1- What are my current goals for self-care?
2- What steps should I take to achieve these goals?
3- How can these goals develop me?
Type Six: Personal Growth Here:
1- Describe a current situation and how it developed you!
2- Ask yourself what standards you would like to develop in yourself!
3- Reflect on a past time where you overcame your difficulties.
Type Seven: Dreams Here:
1- Ask yourself what your future dreams are!
2- Write about one of your goals that you aspire to achieve and what
makes it so important!
3- Describe your ideal day in all its details.
